  5.           Dear Hearts Player:

  7.           Hearts now has a new "Install" service which will aid in the
  8.           transfering (copying)  of  Hearts  from  this  disk  to  its
  9.           permanent  residence  on your computer.  To use this service
  10.           type - INSTALL - at your DOS prompt and press <Enter>.

  12.                Example:  C:> install  <Enter>

  14.           The  following files are used by install service and need to
  15.           be present for it of operate properly.

  17.                     HEARTS.EXE    HEART65.DAT    HEART65.TXT
  18.                     HEARTS.ICO    HEARTS.PIF     REGISTER.TXT
  19.  
  20.           This  version  of  Hearts  uses  a  new  data  and text file
  21.           (HEART65.DAT HEART65.TXT) format and is not compatible  with
  22.           earlier  versions  of  Hearts'  support  files.   If you are
  23.           upgrading from a previous version of Hearts and do  not  use
  24.           the  new  "install"  service,  then  be sure to copy the new
  25.           HEART65.DAT  and  HEART65.TXT  files  along  with  the   new
  26.           HEARTS.EXE file.

  28.           Their is a new file with this  release  of  Hearts  entitled
  29.           WINDOWS.TXT.   This file contains information explaining the
  30.           installation and starting of Hearts for Windows 3.x. If  you
  31.           are a Windows user and would like to play Hearts from within
  32.           the  Windows  environment,  then  please  read this file.  A
  33.           Hearts  Icon  (HEARTS.ICO)  and  Program  Information   File
  34.           (HEARTS.PIF) for Windows also is provided with this release.
